Speaker Pelosi mentioned, “Once we’re speaking about safety, we ha to speak about reality and belief. As a way to serve right here with one another, we should belief that individuals have respect for his or her oath of workplace, respect for this establishment. We should belief one another, respecting the individuals who despatched us right here. We should even have the reality. And that shall be seemed into. If, in reality, it’s discovered that members of congress have been accomplices to this rebellion, in the event that they aided and abetted the crime, there might should be actions taken past the congress when it comes to prosecution for that.”
Some Republicans in Congress must be very nervous proper now. Any member who helped to help, assist, or incite the assault on the Capitol could possibly be criminally charged. Home Democrats have already requested an investigation into House Republicans providing Capitol tours to those who attacked the Capitol.
Speaker Pelosi was right. Any member of Congress who aided the assault must be prosecuted.
